Workshop ventilation design to create a clean, airy environment, eliminate stuffy and hot. Thus, ensuring a fresh and well-ventilated working environment for workers.
Depending on the model of the warehouse, as well as the cost, investors can choose a suitable ventilation design solution. Specifically, 5 popular solutions today, bring high efficiency, fast construction time and low cost.
Design solutions for ventilation systems to cool factories.
Natural ventilation system
The natural wind screen solution for the warehouse is to create ventilation for the working environment by properly arranging the intake and exhausting doors to help circulate the best air.
The advantage of this design is that it has a low investment cost, no electricity consumption for the engine, no noise and environmental pollution.
The downside is that the efficiency is not high and there are many problems that the investor cannot control such as wind direction, weather, climate.
With this design, there is often a need to pay attention to issues such as:
Arrange the air intake and exhaust bar symmetrically to create the best effect.
Wind bar must be arranged reasonably with the wall and especially to cover the rain.
Roof mounted spheres can be used to enhance air convection.
Mechanical ventilation does not use wind channels
This design is somewhat similar to the natural ventilation method but is different in that instead of placing the bar, we put the exhaust fan on the wall.
On the opposite side, put the wind bar with dust filter or technology filter to get outside wind. When the exhaust fan works, it will create a pressure difference inside the workshop, the fresh air outside will automatically overflow to replace the exhausted exhaust.
How to calculate the exhaust air flow to choose the appropriate exhaust fan:
According to TCVN, each person needs at least 20m3 of air in 1 hour. Flow to be ventilated = number of people x 20m3.
Number of people per square meter of floor = Area / 0.7 person / m2 of floor.
Specifically:
Factory area is: 1,000 m2.
Number of people in the workshop is: 1,000 / 0.7 = 1,428 people.
The amount to be ventilated: Vt = 1,428 x 20 = 28,560 m3 / h
The architects will calculate to choose industrial exhaust fans whose flow rate is equal to or greater than 28,560 m3 / h.

Mechanical ventilation solution using wind channel
The ventilation system to cool the factory works on the principle of drawing fresh air from the outside, this air will be blown through a screen made of honeycomb paper.
Paper mesh is made of pine wood pulp material, so it absorbs water, filters dust well, does not mold, deform. The fresh air in the outside environment after being blown through the paper mesh (watered, water pumped continuously onto the paper mesh through the automatic feed-discharge valve) will reduce the temperature to about slowly. 30C - 50C compared to the outside temperature.
This amount of cooled air will be blown continuously into the workshop (by a fan moteur), and will also push the hot and polluted air out of the workshop, creating a cool working environment. Wind distance reaches a maximum of 25m.
This system also increases the humidity in the room from 3% - 5%, on average, about 2 minutes, the amount of air in the room is changed (equal to the amount of fresh air drawn from the outdoors into the room). The system is designed with 3 wind speed modes, so it easily meets the individual needs of each user (the amount of wind supplied can reach 17,000 m3 / hour).
A cooling ventilation system is capable of cooling an area of about 130 square meters. Due to the use of natural evaporation for cooling, this ventilation system has advantages such as environmental protection, deodorization, and power saving (about 1KW / hour on average).

Ventilation combined with factory cooling
Ventilation systems combined with factory cooling are now widely used because of the great advantages compared to air-conditioning systems.
Most prominent is the low investment cost and the cost of electricity consumption is only 1/10 of the use of air conditioning systems.
Factory cooling system by steam
Operates on the principle of positive pressure physics and is a popular product in factories in Vietnam. The air in your workshop will be filtered by this device to clean dust, increase oxygen, reduce temperature but not cause humidity and damage to machinery and materials. In addition, the machine does not affect the employees' health and the surrounding environment.
Because the machine is operated in an open space, investment costs up to 30% cheaper than traditional air conditioning systems. The higher the temperature, the more productive the machine can operate because a particular operating principle is the impact between the heat in the air and the water molecule.

From the information on design solutions that we introduce above, when choosing the air conditioner and ventilation design, you should consider using the optimal solutions that bring about economic efficiency and the most suitable. the actual needs of your business.
